Eye-tracking Software on the Horizon!

Shout-out to Believe, Neptune Monologue: BNM posted a link to the blog of Bruce Sterling, a famed Sci-fi writer. The first article talks about this awesome, new Senseye technology that tracks your vision on-screen. It can be used for gaming, simple web navigation, passwords, and, really, just about anything. Just look where you want to go, and lingering selects what you do. It really offers a whole new level to modern, interactive technology! Even better, you can pre-order it today, for only $99... Similar to how Tim Berners-Lee had the World Wide Web cost virtually nothing, this will aid the technology's spread in popularity, and help attract web and application developers.

Watch the following to see the eye-tracking in action:

(With this new technology, you could have just looked at the video, and it would have played automatically!)

  1. Wow, this is actually really cool and could be revolutionary if used properly! Sounds kinda like the Google glasses device premise but even more adaptable to real world scenario. Too bad it is $99. Great find!
